The social assistant renders a complex of services directed towards social work, consultation, taking care of the persons in need in personal and communal and household aspect. Our social assistant activity is directed towards creation of opportunities for you to be detached and independent, so that you are able to cope with unexpected everyday situations.
What is Included in the Service?
- Rendering aid for everyday personal hygiene maintenance – toilet, taking a bath, changing clothes or bed-linen, feeding, exercise.
- Delivery and preparation of food as per the health status of the person.
- Aid and control upon medicine administration, accompanying to healthcare institutions.
- Reading aloud – newspapers, magazines, books.
- House cleaning once a week, washing and ironing of clothes and bed-linen.
- Accompanying during walk, participation in cultural events, by means of preparation of a visiting schedule at the request of the person.
- Aid to disabled people who have left a specialized institution. Aid and support to their relatives in relation to patient socialization.
- Administrative aid concerning social, pension and health service.
- Aid in communication, establishment and maintenance of social contacts.
- If necessary, purchase of food, medicines and small items.
- Payment of household bills, if necessary.
- Maintaining a relationship with the patient's family and provision of current information on their status.
We have the commitment to get in touch with the family or with a contact person specified if there are any emergencies.
